Quick Quotes
Q. Solid round, looked like several birdies out there. Could you just talk about it?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, I hit it really well. The preferred lies today was also kind of nice, just put myself in a little better lie every time.
Yeah, I putted really well. I hit like 17 greens. I hit a lot of greens on the par 5 and that made it a little bit easier with the birdies. It was a great day.
Q. The last start you had was Walmart. What have you been up to in this past stretch?
YEALIMI NOH: I actually took a little of a break or trip to Thailand with my friend and came to Korea early. Had a bit of time off, like over a week or so. I was excited to come back out and play and it was nice to get off to a good start.
Q. And next week you're playing in Crown. Can you just talk a little bit about what you're looking forward to in that event?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, I'm super excited to not only be representing my country, also in Korea, which is super fun, but honestly being close to the city, our hotel and the golf course is close to Seoul.
So I'm really excited to eat a lot and spend some time with my teammates and show them around Korea.
Q. And team golf, what are you looking forward to about that? Different from every week you have out here.
YEALIMI NOH: For sure. It's so exciting every time we get the opportunity to play with a partner, just someone to have your back. It's also really fun. It's almost like you're playing for fun at home with a friend. So really excited.
Q. For this course specifically, have you ever heard about it before?
YEALIMI NOH: No, I just knew that it was at the edge of the country. Everyone that has told me about the golf course told me it was really beautiful and that it's super nice and it definitely lives up to that.
Q. Is there anything you compare it to? I've heard a lot of people say it's the Pebble Beach of Korea. I don't know if you've played Pebble Beach.
YEALIMI NOH: I have. I think it's more like I'm in Hawai'i or something, it really breezy by the water, very blue water, pretty like the islands. Something I've never experienced in Korea.
Q. Do you still have the broomstick?
YEALIMI NOH: Yeah.
A. How is it working?
YEALIMI NOH: It's great. I found a really good tempo for this week. I think I'm rolling it really well. It's been good.
Q. Minjee talked the broomstick being consistent and easy to use. How do you feel about it in that way?
YEALIMI NOH: I totally agree. Even when I first started using it, it was most consistent with speed, em, for me, like speed and short putts. So much more consistent. It's just been the best. I think it just keeps getting better and better.
