BUICK LPGA SHANGHAI

October 12, 2025

Minjee Lee

Shanghai, China

Qizhong Garden Golf Club

Quick Quotes

Q. All right, here with Minjee Lee after the final round. What are you going to take from this week looking back at it?

MINJEE LEE: I feel like I've been -- I did a lot of things well these past four days, despite being really over heated every single day.

I feel like, I mean, I would like to get my driving a little bit cleaner for the next few weeks but I feel like I've been striking it pretty well with my irons and doing pretty well with the putter as well.

So I think going into next week and Crown and obviously Japan and CME, I think I could -- I think I could bring everything together and hopefully contend in all these weeks as well.

Q. What can you say about the number of people out here today?

MINJEE LEE: Yeah, I mean, obviously I really hope that a lot of people come out to see the final group. Obviously we had world No. 1 and Minami, a lot of Japanese fans out there as well, and I had a nice crowd as well.

But I think golf in general in China has gone from strength to strength obviously with Ronni doing so well and all the other Chinese players. I think there is quite a contingent on the LPGA now.

I feel like The Crown (Wind interference) great that everybody is coming out to support us.

Q. What can you say about watching those two the last couple holes?

MINJEE LEE: Not even the last couple holes. They were doing so well from the beginning, start to finish. So they both played unbelievable, and Jeeno had 9-under and Minami had 7-under so I felt like I got outplayed today, and I definitely did.

It was kind of cool to see on 17 just the chip-in and obviously the putt going in for eagle.

So, yeah, no, I think it was fun to watch them. They're so young and just starting their -- well, I don't know if they're starting their careers, but feels like I've been out there much longer than them.

Q. Had a ton of different winners this year and you're one of them. Why do you think that is?

MINJEE LEE: I think because the Tour in general, I think we're so much more diverse now. Just so many girls from different countries coming to play in America and on the LPGA.

I feel like the depth is -- there is not that much comparison anymore, like top 40, whatever the number may be. So I think that's why there has been a different winner every week. There is just so many girls that are so talented and skillful. I feel like they're coming out younger and stronger and aggressive in play. Just ready to go.

So I just think that's part of it.
