Quick Quotes
SOMI LEE: Because LPGA is so tough, hard competition, the drills I do is like the distance within 100 meters. If I have a chance within 100 meters I want to get a birdie so that's what I'm focused on and I try to do it every day without skipping a single day.
Q. Is part of the drill to get so many within a certain distance?
SOMI LEE: Just landing on the cones so I can get the feeling of the distance.
Q. And you do that every day?
SOMI LEE: Yes, every day.
Q. Very impressive. What do you feel like has stuck out in your game in the past two days?
SOMI LEE: Especially when I'm feeling that I'm climbing on top of the leaderboard, I get this pressure, and I made some mistakes. I tried -- I just tried to focus on my swing one at a time.
Q. And when you got to this -- first time playing this event, right? Second time? Second time. What have you found to be the most important in playing well at this course?
SOMI LEE: Staying fit and carrying on the condition is the most important part because it almost took two days to get here from the United States. And it's very hot, so staying hydrated is very important part of the game.
Q. And this is our first tournament back in Asia for the fall swing. What do you like about playing in Asia, being back in Asia?
SOMI LEE: I don't have a specific favorite country, but I like playing in United States, I like playing in Asia. But the special part about Asia is I get to travel to different countries and of course the various food, the delicious food. I love them all.
Q. What is your favorite food here in China?
SOMI LEE: My favorite food is a Chinese dish called malatang. You can never win the original you get in China.
Q. What is it? What's...
SOMI LEE: This is kind of like a hot pot, a soup. It's spicy and they use a special spice call Mala. That's what special about it.
