Q. J.P., we saw the emotion from you earlier in the season when we saw you guys in Detroit and pulled off the sweep. You've been here as long as anyone -- or longer than anyone. How does it feel to be one win away from being away from the Championship Series?
J.P. CRAWFORD: It feels great, but you just have to focus on tomorrow. It's a big game, and we have to be all in tomorrow. No distractions.
Q. J.P., you signed on here a while back. What was sort of the vision you saw for what this team could become? What was the plan that you signed on for?
J.P. CRAWFORD: This moment right here. You know, we had a good foundation, and I love the city. You know, we have a house up there. We stay up there. I love everything about Seattle. And now looking at this part of it, this is great.
Q. J.P., just how emblematic was this game of what makes you guys dangerous at this point, where obviously it was Cal tonight, but it was also you and Randy and Victor and just waves of guys offensively? How much is that who you guys are at this point?
J.P. CRAWFORD: Yeah. We had a good game, 1 through 9. That's the team that we are. We create chaos, and we keep the line moving.
Q. J.P., you played behind Logan for a long time. How much have you seen him, like -- the competitor that he really is, the Walter aspect, when he gets out on the mound versus the guy you see in the clubhouse?
J.P. CRAWFORD: Yeah. He's a cold-blooded killer when he steps out on the mound. And that's why his name is Walter, I think. It's just a scary name. No offenses to the Walters out there tonight.
You saw it from Pitch 1. He was coming at their throat and you need that type of mentality in these games.
