Q. Danny, how would you characterize the day?

DANNY WALKER: I mean, it was a lot of fun. It's always fun to have a chance to win on Sunday on the back nine.

So I mean, played well. Hit it well for the most part. Probably the best ball striking day I had this week I would say; just didn't quite make the putts I did the first few days.

Yeah, I can't complain. Felt like I handle it had well. Yeah, just really hard to win. I'll take a T3 after this week.

Q. Couple squirrelly woods on the back nine. Just chalk it up to bad swings on 11 and 14?

DANNY WALKER: Yeah, the one on 11 was a little because the overhanging tree, probably couldn't start it as far left as I would've liked; made a bad swing there.

The one on 14 I knew bailing right would be pretty easy. So yeah, wasn't a good swing but missed in the right spot.

Yeah, I mean, not all perfect swings today but nothing to complain about.

Q. You obviously are going to -- you vaulted up pretty high in the FedEx cup standings, I think 56th. How much freedom does that give you to play with the rest of the year and does it change any goals?

DANNY WALKER: Freedom-wise it'll help a lot, yeah, because I won't be quite as stressed out hopefully around that 100 number.

Yeah, you can just go to play to win really. That will be a lot nicer feeling than stressing about finishing top 125 or 100.

Q. Will you think about the 50 to 60 number to get into the first couple Signature Events in 2026?

DANNY WALKER: Yeah, that will be on the mind. I am not sure where I stack on that now after this week. Got another event next week in Japan. Hopefully another opportunity to move up that list.

Q. Tinge of disappointment in the things that happened today or like you said you're pretty happy with the finish, but is there...

DANNY WALKER: Yeah, a little bit. Seeing Steven get to 24, that would've taken one hell of a back nine. Yeah, I think if I had cleaned it up a little bit I would have maybe got second.

I would have had to do something special I think to shoot 24.

So, yeah, a little bit of disappointment, but more happy about a solid week.

Q. 515 feet of putts for the week; pretty impressive number. Best in the history of this golf course. What do you take away from that?

DANNY WALKER: Just that I'm doing the right things with the putting as far as what I'm doing mentally and technically and what the putter itself.

Yeah, looking forward to hopefully making some more putts.
