Quick Quotes
Q. Joining me today after the final round the LOTTE Championship is Nelly Korda. You had a great showing this week. Talk through if you think you executed on your game plan for the week.
NELLY KORDA: I mean, my game plan, it's pretty simple. It's always to give everything 100% and concentrate in and dial in it. If I'm doing what I can, then that's kind of like the most that I can do.
But it was nice to be in contention. The end goal always without saying for everyone in this field is to lift that trophy on Sunday. Falling a little bit short definitely motivated. Have some work to do and have a couple more events to end off the season.
That's just golf. Like I think you start to appreciate it more when you kind of fall short and you appreciate the highs as much as the lows. I just love the grind. I love going out there, competing, doing what I love, playing in front of the fans who are just as passionate about the game as we are, and also going home and working hard on my craft.
Q. You mentioned giving 100% a few times. How does rest and recovery play into that? Do you feel like you're finding a balance?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, it's tough. I would say by this time of the year my body is definitely worn down. I do have some injuries I've had in the past that kind of linger that are never really fully resolved, that you still do PT on every single day, you do therapy.
So making sure you're 100% with your body or as 100% as you can be is always the end goal going into kind of the first day of the event.
Q. This was your first time in Hawai'i in a few years. Talk about the experience being back.
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, it's nice. The atmosphere, I mean, the scenery is beautiful. You have the ocean, mountains. I mean, you can't have a bad day out here.
