Q. With Stacy Lewis finishing an incredible career on the LPGA Tour. Daughter Chesnee is here. She says she doesn't love the camera; being a little bit shy. You've been thinking about this since the spring.
STACY LEWIS: Yeah.
Q. When the moment came, what was it like?
STACY LEWIS: It was normal golf to be honest. I was just hoping to hit the green and get out of here with two putts and make it easy.
But I'm ready. Physically I'm ready. Just going to miss the people obviously more than anything. But the golfer side of me is ready.
Q. When you look back on what you've done in the game from a junior golfer that didn't know if she was going to be able to swing the club to becoming a two-time Rolex Player of the Year, two-time major champion, and very important figure in the game, how do you describe the journey?
STACY LEWIS: I just feel fortunate. I feel lucky. None of it was promised. I worked hard. It's been really fun. It's been amazing.
Q. And who are the people that have been most important to you in this journey?
STACY LEWIS: Just trying to get me to cry, aren't you? Gosh, my swing coach, Joe, my parents, my trainer David and Travis. And pretty cool today, actually we have Frasier in the group who's caddieing for Emily. He was my caddie at Curtis Cup all these years ago.
So just amazing how the world works. I missed that eight-footer on 18 yesterday just so we could play together today. It's amazing. Everything happens for a reason.
