RICHARD STERNE: Yeah, good day. I got the right draw I think for the day, so that helped, after all the years of playing here, sometimes you get good draws. Sometimes you get bad draws and today I got a good draw. Pretty happy with that.

But I'm playing well, and you can see that from the scoring.

Q. The weather out there at the minute was brutal. It wasn't too bad this morning. Talk us through the weather today.

RICHARD STERNE: Yeah, it was pretty good for the first nine, ten holes and then started to come in and I think it's pretty tough now. The wind is picking up and obviously with the rain it's not ideal. It's Scotland and that's what you expect.

Q. With the different format this week, how do you prepare playing a different course every day?

RICHARD STERNE: Fortunately I've played here since 2001, so I know all the courses. I just try and play a few holes. I always enjoy playing any of these golf courses; it's a privilege.

I always try to play St Andrews 18 holes and then I go nine holes on one of the other courses, and that's just kind of what I do to prepare, try and be ready and rest because it's a long week.
