Q. Matt, an opening round 63. Talk us through that.

MATT JORDAN: Yeah, it was brilliant. Anytime you get to play this place, especially with no wind, it's just so enjoyable. And, yeah, it just took off. It was a couple of holes just steady away, and then all of a sudden fireworks. Yeah, I think that's probably the first time I've probably got eagle-eagle in a tournament, so that certainly helps, and then all of a sudden just trying to keep carrying it on.

Q. Those two eagles in a row, that doesn't happen all the time. How happy are you with that?

MATT JORDAN: Yeah, it's one of the first times. Yeah, it certainly improves the scoring. Yeah, space of half an hour, all of a sudden you're dramatically doing a lot better.

So, yeah, I think what's most impressive, of course, is that happened because I still was trying to -- I was still trying to push on, I was trying to make as many birdies as I can, certainly how this event is.

So, yeah, it's good doing that, and that's obviously special, but I've got to carry on for the other 16 holes.

Q. And your playing partner, Piers Morgan, he was giving you a lot of sport out there today. How fun was it playing with him?

MATT JORDAN: He's certainly an entertainer, and he's certainly -- yeah, I mean, played with him before. First round last year was more niceties, it was more polite, getting to know each other. This year was more -- as long as he does well, it doesn't matter what else happens, really.

No, we had a lot of fun. It was, yeah, a lot to make about him coming in at five if I didn't make a putt and it was all down to him and etc., etc. So it was fun. Probably a lot different, a lot different dynamic to others, other teams, anyway.

Q. I know as we've gotten to the last few tournaments of the season, and a lot of ranking points go up for grabs, is that something you're thinking about this week?

MATT JORDAN: Yeah, I mean, there's always points to figure out. There's always something to play for. So no, you play well, everything gets taken care of. So, of course, this one, there's stuff like that involved.

But, you know, the reason at the start of the season with -- you know, say when you go to Dubai and events like that, so you've got to try and make the best of it. You get to this stage, and it seems like when you're running out of events, there's more pressure, yeah, I can see that, but we've been doing this all year.
