Quick Quotes
Q. Ryan, seven birdies and an eagle in your round of 63 at Kingsbarns, how pleased are you with your days work?
RYAN BREHM: There's really nothing not to be pleased about. Just an amazing place. This is my first time over here, and I was pretty much in awe on every fairway, and I hit a lot of fairways, which is kind of rare for me. It was a lot of fun.
Q. You're saying it's your first time over here and your first time in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. This is like a bucket list kind of week, isn't it?
RYAN BREHM: Absolutely. It reminds me a lot of -- I live in northern Michigan, it reminds me a lot of there, similar grass and conditions, and the weather, a little rainy, comes in squalls. I've felt comfortable ever since I stepped off the plane.
Q. What do you attribute no bogeys on the scorecard?
RYAN BREHM: I hit a lot of fairways. The one time I caught a bunker, it wasn't even a bad swing. I had a lot of comfortable numbers. So my mis-hits were pin-high. And you know, I just left it in the correct spots so that I have to putt a whole lot of stress on my short game.
Q. An interesting week, two new challenges to prepare for. How do you go about adjusting your strategy over the next couple days?
RYAN BREHM: What's interesting is I wish I didn't play any of them now because this is the only one I didn't play. We walked it. My wife and I walked it the first day we landed. We were a little jet-lagged and ended up walking it. We'll see what to do. I had a good time playing the other two golf courses. They are obviously great tests of golf, and you know, I know the weather is coming in but you just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
