Q. Great to be alongside Patty Tavatanakit after this very nice opening round. What clicked for you today?

PATTY TAVATANAKIT: I think it's got to be that pitching wedge like earlier during the round. I hit that like -- flushed that one and felt myself waking up a little bit.

So ever since then it's been on a nice flow. A little thinky out there because it's playing tough with the wind.

Q. Yeah, you described it as, what was it, a warm Scotland?

PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Yeah, a little bit of drizzle in the morning and then it died and came back and the wind picked up, so fun.

Q. What about playing here in Hawai'i? Is there a different attitude when you come into an event here in Hawai'i?

PATTY TAVATANAKIT: Definitely -- I am feeling definitely a lot more chill, like very slow pace. I have no sense of time whatsoever. Everything just kind of like I'm literally just going with the flow which is good. It's a great feeling.
