Q. Tyrrell, final half-point for Europe, what a day, what a moment, how are you feeling?

TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, it was just the most stressful day. The last six, seven holes were just horrible. I mean, I missed a fair few putts. I feel like I hit good putts. I just didn't read the greens very well today. I'm sure it's frustrating a lot of people back home but I tried my best. And that putt to win the match on the last, I knew it had two putts for us to secure to win the Ryder Cup.

Q. What was it like when all the red started to emerge on the board?

TYRRELL HATTON: They are amazing players and they were always going to put up a huge fight and they certainly did that today. Made it extremely difficult for us. The atmosphere was really hard. And yeah, it was hard to hit good shots. I managed to hit good shots but sadly I couldn't hole the putts. I'm so happy but my brain is all over the place. It was amazing that we won but wow it was so hard.

Q. Describe how stressful the last five hours have been looking at that leaderboard?

TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, to be honest, it's been one of the hardest days I've probably ever experienced on a golf course. Going outnumber 10 of 11 matches today, obviously hoping that everything is wrapped up but you still want to take pride in your individual record and stuff but I mean, the U.S. lads put up an incredible fight. It was to be expected. They are amazing players. Selfishly I was really hoping that it wouldn't have to come down to me. And yeah, the last five, six, seven holes were just horrible to be honest. But at the end of the day I'm just so happy that we've managed to win.

Q. Describe the brotherhood.

TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, I mean, it's a terrible team. Very fortunate to be a very small part of it. You have the 12 players and caddies and the vice captains and the captains, but there's so many backroom staff that put so much effort into this. We're a small part of a huge team. Yeah, this is my fourth one and they are the greatest golf weeks of my life.
