Quick Quotes

Q. This afternoon it felt like you played even better. What was different for you all?

STEWART CINK: I don't know. We probably got settled into the event a little bit more. This is both of our first time playing, and the format is a little bit unusual. So it takes some getting used to.

This afternoon we kept it in play. Every hole it seemed like we had two good choices on the fairway which one to go with. Jason played well. I played well. We had a good team. We played against good opponents too.

Q. Jason, what was that first tee shot like for you this morning? Since this is your first time playing in an event like this.

JASON CARON: I was nervous, but I wasn't crazy nervous. I had a great night's sleep. I thought, if that's the case, I'll probably come out and play pretty good. I just kind of played fair at best, I would say, on that front nine.

On the 1st tee, it was just great to walk up there with all of those greats and be part of this event. It was awesome.

Q. As great as you were this afternoon, were any of you guys looking at each other and thinking what are Darren and Thomas doing?

JASON CARON: Thomas made some nice putts there. That putt on 8 was not an easy putt. It had a big curl, speedy. To make that one, that one I said, darn, that could hurt. I had a feeling he was going to make that putt on 8. Hat's off to them. They played great.

Q. (Indiscernible question)?

JASON CARON: 40!

Q. Say it again.

JASON CARON: 40 yards!

Q. I want to know now. You didn't get to feel like that a lot on the PGA TOUR. What does it feel like out here knowing that?

STEWART CINK: Golf is a power game. It's a huge advantage to be able to hit it far and keep it in play. I've been able to translate golf on the PGA TOUR to PGA TOUR Champions. You're going to be at the top of the distance category when you do that.

I'm going to enjoy it for a couple of years. Who knows how long it will last? It's something we work really hard on. All of us we work really hard on our power and using our driver and hitting it far. It's a weapon I have right now that I'm going to continue to ride.
