Q. You guys did ham and egg it pretty good out there today.
DARREN CLARKE: Yeah, I think we have a lot of experience in Madison this year playing together and winning that event and knowing that keep putting the ball in the right places and one will take care of the hole in this format. We did that this morning.
THOMAS BJØRN: Yes, we did.
DARREN CLARKE: Got work to do this afternoon.
Q. That's what I was going to ask about. After playing this format, the format changes but you two guys stay together. How does the strategy change?
DARREN CLARKE: The only thing that was any good of mine today was really my driver. Let's hope that stays okay, but better go to the range and work on it a little bit. Thomas played beautifully this morning and made some great birdies there. I was behind a little bit, so I'm going to go and do a little bit of work.
As Thomas says, we know each other's game inside out. We've known each other so long. We've done Ryder Cup together. We've done everything together. I've got the ultimate trust in him, and he's got the same in me.
Q. Does that make it easier for you to look at him, and say, relax, man, you'll figure it out?
THOMAS BJØRN: Yeah, with all the success, good players are going to figure it out down the road. Just got to keep playing. Can't get down on yourself in this format. You're playing for more than yourself. So we keep going.
Q. Tell me about this next format. How do you guys like it? It's almost like the pro-am shamble. Everybody hits a driver, and we'll figure it out once we get down there.
DARREN CLARKE: No, it's pretty easy. We've done it before in Europe, a tournament they play over there called Seve Trophy. We have played it before.
It's just whoever likes the shot more into the par-4s, we hit our own tee balls on the par-3s. It's no biggie to go and change what we're doing.
