Quick Quotes - afternoon
Q. Were you trying to leave him that much on the last because you were going for the 29?
THOMAS BJØRN: He missed an 18-inch putt in Madison when we were up there on the 15th. So I thought I'd get him back.
DARREN CLARKE: He did. He got me back.
Q. What happened between the morning session and the afternoon session? What did you work out?
DARREN CLARKE: Sometimes you have good times, and sometimes you're just a little bit off. You're never that far off. Every week, you go to the range and work on one little thing, and you play better.
Q. Did you know that was for 29?
THOMAS BJØRN: Yeah, we got off flying. We were flying, hitting good shots. Hitting to the middle of the fairway a long way down there for us. It was just -- it was a nice afternoon. Getting just downwind with the driver this afternoon was a lot. It was nice to be close.
Q. (Indiscernible question)?
DARREN CLARKE: Well, all due respect, that's why you've got the mic and we're playing. I'm just saying. As intelligent as you are, you may be correct.
Q. I'm just as smart as I look out there. Are there any different plans going into tomorrow?
THOMAS BJØRN: Ours is going to be the same. Bernhard looks like he might be feeling better, so he might come into the team. That's for Bernhard to work out with the players. For us, I don't see us doing anything different.
DARREN CLARKE: We'll be exactly the same.
Q. How proud are you of Søren Kjeldsen and how he stepped in and played so well?
DARREN CLARKE: Søren is pretty new over here to the Champions Tour, but we've known Søren for more than 20 years. We know how good a player he is. He's a feisty little competitor, he loves the game, and he grinds it out there. We knew he was really good.
With Alex, they came in second to us in Madison. They're a pretty strong pairing themselves. We knew, with Bernhard feeling a little bit under the weather, Søren had to go in, and it was fine.
