Q. You thought it was raining, but what it was was the tears of Alex Cejka's competitors. How you do that to two dudes and just double them up like that, Alex?

ALEX CEJKA: It was actually a good day until it just started raining. I hit good shots. I hit a couple close, made a couple birdies. That's what it's all about. You're trying to make half a point, a point, maybe sometimes two points.

Overall I'm pleased to help out this morning the team with a couple points.

Q. Do you feel it on the golf course? I mean, we see guys coming off with double digits, Darren Clarke double digits, Thomas Bjørn double digits. Do you feel that when you're on the course? Because the whole team seems to be locked in.

ALEX CEJKA: I think we're all locked in. I'm still a little bit nervous. I'm not playing just for me. I'm playing for the whole team. I have a little tingling in my hand when I'm there.

Q. Really?

ALEX CEJKA: Yeah, really. You're just playing for six other guys. You don't want to let them down. We all play for each other. We have great chemistry. We love it, and we'll see what happens this afternoon. We put a couple good points this morning on the board. So we'll see what it brings.

Q. What do you feel like are going to be the most important things this afternoon to keep the momentum going?

ALEX CEJKA: Just especially in the beginning at least, get some points. It's a tough start when you lose the first couple holes and get zero points. I think that's always a killer a little bit. At least if you can get one point, a half point, first couple holes until you get a little bit in the rhythm.

We all here, no matter what team, are so experienced. We've played for decades. It's just who makes good shots and who makes good putts.
