Q. Obviously not the outcome that you wanted for the team, but can you speak to the effort that you guys had today and throughout the whole tournament?

JIM FURYK: Yeah, we fought. We actually played some pretty darn good golf. My hat's off to the European team. Amazing.

This morning -- they didn't play the 9th hole very well in the morning session, but they were 21-under par as a team collectively. Bernhard was 6-under through five; Søren was 5-under through 5. Man, they just made a ton of birdies and went out there and won the golf tournament.

Guys fought, as you said. Obviously had a great time this week as far as the camaraderie and the hang. Not the result we were looking for, but it was nice to wake up this morning with all three teams in the thick of things.

It's just the Europeans pulled themselves apart very, very early this morning and just kept going from there.

Q. Obviously this is a second year event, but can you just speak to how special these two events have been? You won the previous one. Just being a part of this whole thing.

JIM FURYK: I've always said the team events, the Presidents Cup, the Ryder Cup, those are my best memories from my career. Now having the opportunity to do it again here at the WCC, it's a small, a quaint group, but a ton of fun to hang out with the guys and go fight together.

A lot of these guys, I've known since junior golf, amateur golf. We've competed together and hung out together for many years on the TOUR. To be able to compete as a team and go here has been amazing. Looking forward to hopefully some more years.
