Q. Great win today. You took the lead on the 5th hole. Can you talk a little bit about how it went?
LINN GRANT: We had a solid day. I think we both contributed today and just went back and forth. Just kind of very simple. A simple day.
MAJA STARK: Yeah, I finally got some putts to drop. I didn't contribute at all until yesterday. It was nice. I feel like we played pretty solid.
Q. And stress-free because once you were up, I know you dropped back at one point, but generally very comfortable. Is that just because you're feeling comfortable with each other, both playing great?
LINN GRANT: I think we played so much match play rounds together that we don't get very stressed quickly. I think we just know to get back to having two balls in the fairway, two balls on the green, and giving ourselves the most opportunities. I think that helps.
Q. Who's the sort of cheerleader between the two of you?
MAJA STARK: I think it's an agreement that cheerleading doesn't help.
LINN GRANT: It's more like, oh, great drive. Better than yesterday.
MAJA STARK: Yeah, we both said that at the same time on 15 today. I think we lose the hole and then we go, okay, and then we move on.
LINN GRANT: Let's do better.
MAJA STARK: Yeah, let's do better. I don't think I've ever seen either of us stressed out when we play together.
Q. A lot of people are saying they want to finish before the 16th so they don't have to climb up the hill.
LINN GRANT: Yeah, that's what we said, too. Let's just finish it out.
MAJA STARK: We're very nice to our caddies.
Q. What do you remember about the first time you partnered together? Do you remember it?
MAJA STARK: That was crazy. Against Germany.
LINN GRANT: Oh, yeah, yeah.
MAJA STARK: Against Esther Henseleit and Aline Krauter. Esther holed out twice and we shot 7-under the back nine holes in a foursome. It was pretty intense, the playoff hole.
LINN GRANT: Yeah, we had a lot of matches like that. We had just seen the most unexpected thing happen. I think knowing that, too, that we've done some really cool things together.
MAJA STARK: Because I think we were 3-down after like nine holes together, and we said screw it -- first Esther made another eagle, but then we chipped in for eagle.
Q. How old would you have been?
MAJA STARK: 17.
LINN GRANT: 10 years ago?
Q. What age would you have started together?
LINN GRANT: I mean, we played tournament rounds from when we started competing.
MAJA STARK: I'd say 13.
LINN GRANT: 13, 14. But that year was the year we got put together and had to play together.
Q. What year would that have been?
MAJA STARK: 2017.
Q. You were 17 in 2017?
MAJA STARK: Yeah, born in December of '99.
