THE MODERATOR: Questions in Chinese.
Q. I watched your match with Zhizhen. After the match, Zhizhen said he had low expectations for the match. How did you prepare for this match and what was your plan after that?
YUNCHAOKETE BU: What was your question? The road ahead? The plan in the future? The road ahead, right?
Q. Yes.
YUNCHAOKETE BU: Going back to the match, there wasn't any problem with his level of play. He was really good. Like what I said after that match, he did not play for six months, then he was able to raise his level for three hours with his the physicality. It was very challenging. All credit to him.
The most important thing is I saw that his mentality improved. I thought in previous matches his mentality might be a factor, but I congratulated him for doing better now.
Compared to the matches last year with him, I was more relaxed, I was more able to control it. Compared to last year, I was able to play with a better game plan, with better strategies.
After Davis Cup, I was not really able to adjust because of jet lag, but I was able to pull through. I would like to focus on my own tennis.
Q. In the China season last year, you played well. Could you talk about your performance this year. Talk about your first-round opponent, de Minaur. Any expectations?
YUNCHAOKETE BU: I played him twice. Once in Miami. The second time was in DC. Every time I played him, it was always high-quality. In DC, it was very intense. He is a really tough type of opponent for me. It will definitely be very challenging.
In the DC tournament, he won the tournament. The only thing I can do is be myself, to enjoy this tournament, to enjoy the three and four weeks in China as much as possible with the fans cheering for me. This is the happiest thing.
In training sessions, on court, we get really good support. I receive a lot of support. This is very special for me.
