SOMI LEE: (Through translation.) Recently I wasn't performing good because I had some issues with my body, some injury with my feet. Luckily I recovered fully so I think that gave me the boost to finish the round today.

Especially I been working on my 100 meter shot. I think that was the main focus that led me to a good round today.

Q. Then you hit 17 of 18 greens out there. Almost every green today. Talk a little bit about this golf course and how important good iron shots are.

SOMI LEE: (Through translation.) I think especially these ones the greens are very tricky so especially with the iron shots I think you want to hit the right number. Especially just aim at the pin. You need to be precise and accurate. Especially with today, there was no wind at all so that made the round a little bit easier for me today.

Q. Last question: What kind of confidence does this give you going into the next two days since this is only a 54-hole event?

SOMI LEE: (Through translation.) Even if the remaining two days is not my day I will still try to work hard, play hard and stay focused. I'll try my best.
