Q. You've made it to the quarterfinals. Tell me about your day. What happened out there?

NADENE GOLE: Look, I didn't putt that well today. I missed a few, a couple under four feet, and that was probably the turning point. Shelly missed a couple but I missed more than her, and that was all. That was it, then it was a good match. We both played pretty good golf. I'm guessing she would have been six or seven birdies or something.

It's the point it comes to, isn't it; my golf started to get a bit better but my putting didn't really improve. I'm happy for her, and I'm glad that I eventually pushed her to the 18th because I think I was 3-down or something at 10. It is what it is; I'd rather be still playing.

Q. What was your favorite part about the week?

NADENE GOLE: You know, I think coming back and seeing the girls. When you win the championship, there's no one around. Often they've left and had to go home, and I think having the players dinner is a really special thing. I said if there's an equivalent to a Masters dinner, it's that moment, because we don't have anything like that. But all the champions get mentioned. I know with the Masters dinner it's only the champions, but it was really special to be able to speak in front of everyone and just catch up with people because they just seemed very, very grateful to me for winning and also being part of seniors golf. I think that's special.

Q. What made this specific host site stand out?

NADENE GOLE: This one, probably a little bit more challenging for all of us. I accepted it straight away. I started to really enjoy the shuttle drive. I was like, look at the trees and look at that house. I really think that the back nine is really special on this because the scenery is beautiful, and you turn some corners and you get these beautiful vistas, and I started to look around and look at all the beautifully colored trees. So that's the thing for me, and it's different; it's somewhere I'd never been before. Different is good, isn't it?
