TOMMY FLEETWOOD: I think it was a really good day of patience for me. There was a lot of good scores out there and you're playing with Aaron who played phenomenally well. He was unbelievable today in every department.

Yeah, I think, look, I was bogey-free but only 3-under playing 16 which is a decent round of golf. I actually felt it felt pretty tough like on 14, 15, 16, 17, even 18, in the wind, greens are getting a bit crustier. Felt like I was playing well. Was sort of falling short of the guys that were doing great.

But a really big finish, so happy with that, and yeah, a good day.

Q. You say a good day for patience.

TOMMY FLEETWOOD: It's another one of the challenges, like the game tests you every day in different aspects and different departments. Today, I actually felt like I hit the ball really well, like better than yesterday even. Like I hit a lot of good drives. I felt like margins were small.

You look at 10 and 11. 10, I felt like their chips checked up. I hit one trying to play a little bit low and that goes past it and the putt misses. 11, I end up in the worst possible -- I miss the fairway by a yard but in a terrible spot far two. So two pars there.

So I felt like I was playing really good. I was just aware that I had to stay focused and try to just keep playing shots. It wasn't going to get any easier and luckily my time came at the end of the round.

Q. You have a chance tomorrow; how much are you looking forward to that?

TOMMY FLEETWOOD: Very much so. I've been saying the whole time, I'm playing very good golf at the moment, and I've found myself in this position a lot throughout the summer, but never take it for granted. This is what we practice for. These are the times of our lives, and I'm enjoying it very much.

Just grateful for another opportunity to go out there and control what I can control. You know, hopefully I play well. If I don't, dust by myself off and go again. But yeah very excited about the prospects. That last hole there, I looked at the leaderboard and saw Nacho had made birdie, and was like, I need to make birdie to get into the last group which would be nice.

Great to get in the last group which is where we all want to be and I'm one of the lucky ones to do it tomorrow. Hopefully I just continue to do great things and the right things and see where we finish at the end of the day.
