Q. Describe your day out there?

ANDY SULLIVAN: Slow start, in terms of the scoring, I felt like I played okay to start with. Had a few chances towards the end. The big thing at the moment is trying to be patient and disciplined and accountable for my actions.

Felt like, just keep doing what I was doing, and then got a bit of a good run going on the back nine. Disappointed to three-putt the last, but you've just made 50 feet on the hole before, so you can't be too annoyed to be honest. Happy; in a good spot for the weekend and it's good.

Q. You mentioned patience there. Seven pars in a row from the second and then you had that birdie blitz. Anything that changed in the game or the conditions?

ANDY SULLIVAN: The wind died down a little bit. I didn't feel like I was swinging any better or worse than I was. I think in a pretty good place mentally where, you know, even if it gets a little frustrating out there I'm quite good at handling it again.

Starting to smile more on the golf course which helps me be even more patient. I felt pretty level all day to be honest with you. Just played solid golf, and gave myself a lot of looks at birdie and I'm putting quite well. It all adds up to 12-under at the moment.

Q. You seem in a really buoyant mood at the moment. Is this possibly some of the best golf you've played this season at the moment?

ANDY SULLIVAN: Yeah, definitely, I think I've hit a good bit of form since India. I feel like my game has turned around a little bit. Life's good. I'm playing good golf. One of my best friends is absolutely flying, doing great as well. It's great. It's great to see. It's good times to be a golfer.
