Q. Jeeno, put the check down if you want. Don't worry. That doesn't mean you're giving it up. Let me ask you about the way you played this week. Athletes want to peak at the right time. You have peaked at the right time two years in a row to win the biggest first place check in women's golf. How have you been able to do that?
JEENO THITIKUL: I don't know. I think maybe $4 million got motivation then. (Laughter.)
I mean, I love this golf course. To be honest, playing here at CME, our last tournament of the year, give me a really good energy.
Q. You said at the beginning of the week you didn't even know how you were going to be able to play because of your wrist. You end up playing incredible golf. How were you able to rebound, be in top form with that wrist injury?
JEENO THITIKUL: Yeah, you know, like last week in Dallas I was worry a lot that I might not be able to play this week, but I think maybe that one is the point that I'm not thinking too much. I'm not expecting things. I just like oh, I be able to play. That's really good enough.
Q. Well, this performance here is good enough to win Rolex Player of the Year, the Vare Trophy, and it means you have the lowest scoring average for a season in the history of the LPGA Tour, surpassing Annika Sorenstam in 2002. What does that mean to you?
JEENO THITIKUL: Definitely means a lot. I mean, like I'm just really like back then when I was six years old I'm just really young kids that had no idea what LPGA was, what a world No. 1 looked like. But as I'm stepping here on the LPGA Tour, I know our part is playing golf but like also inspiring the next generation is part of our job as well.
Q. Well, you inspired a lot of the people the way that you have played this week. Lift that trophy one more time as the CME Group Tour champion. Jeeno Thitikul wins again here at Tiburon.
