MAYBANK CHAMPIONSHIP

November 2, 2025

Liyana Durisic

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Here with Liyana. Can you talk about your round?

LIYANA DURISIC: My round? Well, today I didn't obviously play the best, as best as I wanted to. I think it was just keeping my head down. I did fairway, green, two putts, and I think it worked out really well.

I had one double, but that was just a poor choice of -- it just rolled too much and then it was fine. I got over it really quickly.

Q. How does this week actually -- what does it mean to you?

LIYANA DURISIC: This week has meant a lot to me. Obviously playing in front of a home crowd, playing at home, just with so many people supporting, I think is really special.

I look forward to coming back next year.

Q. And where do you go after this?

LIYANA DURISIC: I'm taking a break for a bit, like two weeks and then going play PGM Johor. After that, I'll go to Morocco for LET Q-School.

Q. Some of the biggest takeaways from this competition that you learned? Golf is always about knowing yourself individually and as a career. What was the biggest takeaway?

LIYANA DURISIC: The biggest takeaway was just keeping my head levelled. I think I did really well this week with just like calming myself down instead of like trying too hard.

I think I did really well this week. That was my biggest takeaway.

Q. What is your plan for next season? Do you have any plan?

LIYANA DURISIC: I'm planning on playing LET Q-School. That's in December and hopefully be in Europe next year.

Q. Coming from to Maybank, something that -- what's actually go wrong in Maybank?

LIYANA DURISIC: I wouldn't say anything went wrong. I think I played decent. I just needed to make -- sink more putts, make more good decisions. But if I were to compare Ladies and Maybank it's a different course. This course is set up for LPGA, LPGA level.

And the Ladies, course was great. It was just not set up as well as this week.

Obviously I need more experience with like trying to play at tucked pins. There is so many waters here; not many waters at mine. It was just about managing my expectations.

Q. Are you satisfied with your performance?

LIYANA DURISIC: Yes, I am. I'm very satisfied, yes. I did better than I did last year. That was the goal. Yeah, look forward to coming back next year.
