THE MODERATOR: Questions for Francisco.
Q. Your thoughts on the match tonight.
FRANCISCO CERUNDOLO: Well, as I was saying in Spanish, I think it was a really good match from both sides. I think we both play a really good level of tennis. He serve unbelievable one set and a half. The middle of the second set I think I started reading a little bit his serve. I started putting more balls in. It was a really tough battle, for sure.
Yeah, of course I'm a little bit mad because I lost. In the end I think, I don't know, how you say, I gave my best. I think I play a really good tennis. On the other side of the net is a player that is No. 3 in the world. Played a really good match also. Real aggressive also from both sides, besides serving unbelievable.
Yeah, it's tennis.
Q. If you had to suggest a reason for the difference between the two of you, would you say he was at a higher level today or do you think there was something else that made a difference?
FRANCISCO CERUNDOLO: No, yeah, I think we both play really good. First set he broke me once. Probably the worst game that I played in the set. He returned really good, really deep on that game. Then none of us had a break point. The one who was serving was super confident in every game. In the tiebreak, we play like four rallies. They ended up all on his way.
I mean, yeah, there were small details at the end that could have been on my side. They went for his side. I mean, what was the key? I don't know. I think small details that at the end, I don't know, it were on the other side.
