Q. ... today with that 64. How would you assess your first two days here at this championship?

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, yesterday was a little bit frustrating. I thought I played better than what my score showed. But today more putts were rolling in. I've been hitting it solid off the tee and into the greens.

Yesterday they were just kind of burning the edges and today they dropped.

Q. Looked like you made nearly everything you looked at. You said a minute ago alluding to the frustration that you tried to simplify some things after your round yesterday. What did you change?

NELLY KORDA: I honestly just went to the putting green for five minutes, saw some balls actually go into the hole, and left. That's as simple as it is.

Q. Seven top tens. What's that missing piece you'll be looking for this weekend to get that long-awaited first win here?

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, just kind of get it going on the weekend for sure. I mean, depends on the pins. Every year they kind of trick them out. I know Jason was talking in years prior it would be six from the edge and we see it starting to be like three or four.

So just being consistent with my ball striking and hoping some putts fall.
