Q. You know, they asked me today, what do I think helped you play like that today. I just feel like in the middle of the season I remember in Canada you told me to keep things simple.

NELLY KORDA: Yeah.

Q. So after a round like yesterday, is that something you thought about, or what helped you shoot a low score and make it look easy today?

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I mean, I would say yesterday was just missing by centimeters. They were burning edges, lipping out. I'm always saying like this has been kind of the common theme this year. I feel like I played so much better than my score has shown.

So I honestly just went to the putting green for five minutes and I was obviously a little frustrated, so I went back and simplified it. Yeah, just didn't do too much.

Q. Absolutely. Feel like the pace on the greens was really, really good today. A lot of putts went in with perfect pace. For tomorrow and the rest of the weekend, what is it that you're looking for to keep those things going on the putting green and make sure you roll those putts in? Rest of the game looks super solid. Maybe keeping it simple?

NELLY KORDA: For sure. And requesting you to be in my group.

Q. Did you hear that? We'll be there.

NELLY KORDA: Yeah, just do my routine every single day. Just try to keep it simple. That's kind of the key always to my game. When I start to complicate it then my mind just starts to go, and that's like the worst thing to do as a golfer or I think as an athlete, is have to much information in your head.

Going to simplify it and do my routine and stick to that and see how it goes.
