Q. Joined now by Miranda after her second round at the Maybank Championship. Just take us through the round today. What worked well for you?

MIRANDA WANG: Today my long game was working pretty well. I actually had more birdie chances than yesterday; few more putts could have dropped.

Q. You told me this is your first time here. What have you made of KLGCC and Malaysia itself?

MIRANDA WANG: I'm really happy to be playing in this tournament. It's my first time in Malaysia and it's a beautiful course, high quality. I'm just enjoying it out there.

Q. How does this course maybe suit your game?

MIRANDA WANG: I really like playing in Southeast Asia countries, like Malaysia, Singapore. I think I have a pretty good wedge game, so like this course I hit a lot of the shorter irons.

That gives me more confidence.

Q. First time in Kuala Lumpur?

MIRANDA WANG: Yes, first time.

Q. Your impressions and have you tried any local food?

MIRANDA WANG: The buildings here are so beautiful. I was talking to my dad. It's our first time in Malaysia. Every building -- we're staying in the city center. Very nice for the tournament to give us such nice hotel. We been walking around the city. I love it.

Q. Obviously the heat is a big factor this week. How have you been able to stay cool on the course?

MIRANDA WANG: I drink a lot of water and a lot of electrolyte drinks. It's part of the game. Like it's so hard, one of the hottest tournament. I just tell myself just keep calm and don't rush and drink a lot of water.

Q. Last one: What's it going to take? A lot of low scores on the leaderboard. What's it going to take to keep going even lower and hopefully notch another victory for yourself?

MIRANDA WANG: Yeah, I just keep doing what I have been doing and I think my game this week is pretty good. It hasn't been going so well over the last two weeks, and I'm slowly getting back to the best part of my game.

So hopefully can give it another try this weekend.
