Q. All smiles here, especially after that brilliant two-putt at the 18th. Talk about a little bit of the flow of today. There were a lot of brilliant shots, a lot of birdies, and a few others. How would you categorize the day in general?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, I think I actually had that yesterday as well, just like a rollercoaster. You know, fortunate that there was more good than bad. I have to minimize the mistakes if I want to climb the leaderboard at the end of the day.
Overall, happy with my round.
Q. You clearly love this golf course. You played well here last year. What is it that draws the best out in your game?
NELLY KORDA: I think you can just be really aggressive. Kind of suits my game. Definitely plays towards the longer hitters I would say, especially the par-5s.
At the end of the day, I think this golf course is about being aggressive and taking your chances, and that's what I like about it.
Q. Yeah, seemed like the only time any of you really got into trouble was when you were off the fairway. That clearly makes the hole a little bit harder. So basically thoughts on this weekend upcoming and what have to do to catch Chanettee who put the pedal down?
NELLY KORDA: Yeah, just trying to minimize those mistakes. The rough is a little tricky. On that one that hit it into the hazard it kind of came out dead and didn't really fly, and had fliers out of there, too.
So making sure you're in the fairways and being aggressive I think will be the key to this weekend.
