Quick Quotes
Q. All right, here with Lottie Woad after her second round at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. Pretty solid round from you today. Just take us through it.
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, played pretty solid. Good tee-to-green. Didn't really make too many mistakes other than that one bogey on 9. Burned quite a lot of edges on the back nine but was hitting good putts, and pretty happy with it.
Q. First time here at TPC River's Bend. What have you made of the course?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it's a good course, a lot of opportunities, but also some really testing holes that you have to take your medicine today and aim away from some of the pins.
Q. Extremely accurate off the tee over 36 holes. 26 or 28 fairways. Is that the key out there?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I mean, they're kind of generous, the fairways I feel like, so, yeah, you can read into that how you like. Yeah, you don't want to be playing out of the rough on the greens because they're firming up a little bit.
Yeah, you want to hit the fairway.
Q. Got to play collegiate golf in the U.S.; starting to get used to pro life in the U.S.?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it's a learning process. The first few events were in the UK, so had my whole family there and stuff like that. Yeah, getting the hang of it now.
Q. What's the mindset heading into the weekend?
LOTTIE WOAD: Just try and make a lot of birdies really. I know it's going to be low scoring so just got to try and do that.
