Maineville, Ohio, USA

TPC River’s Bend

Quick Quotes

Q. Here with Chisato Iwai after her second round at the Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G. Just take us through the round today. Really good especially front nine. Just what worked well for you today?

CHISATO IWAI: Oh, thank you. So front nine my feeling no 100%.

(Through translation.) In the front nine I wasn't feeling that well with the feeling and everything. I wasn't expecting to finish with this great score today.

Q. And you started on 10.

CHISATO IWAI: Yeah.

Q. So the front nine, your back. You weren't feeling well. Was there anything different you felt at the turn? Maybe started to feel better? You had four birdies in a row.

CHISATO IWAI: I don't know. I don't know I better, but my caddie said for me patient. Yeah, yes.

Q. Very different scorecards yesterday to today. Only two birdies yesterday; a ton more today. What were some of the differences in the rounds yesterday compared to today?

CHISATO IWAI: I don't know. Yesterday after round I went to practice couple shot; when I was practice I don't get good feeling. But in the morning, yeah, better. Yeah, just good. Good start.

Q. What was the bad feeling? Something with the swing or what?

CHISATO IWAI: Just not too much thinking. Yeah, just trust my instincts, yeah.

Q. How does this course maybe bring out some of the strengths of your game?

CHISATO IWAI: Oh, so green were a little bit faster today and weather was getting warm. Par-5 is not too long. My strong is driving distance. That's why par-5 good chance.

Q. Got to see you reunite with the Dallas Cowboys. How was that experience getting to gift them the drivers? I saw the race as well with your sister.

CHISATO IWAI: It was so -- I forgot English. Sorry. (Through translation.) Super awesome. So fun. Super awesome. So the three we met were really, really great people, no matter what they were doing. It was really good experience and it was a lot of fun.
