Q. I know you wanted that last putt, but it'll be a tie to finish off your Walker Cup experience. How would you put this whole week into words?

MASON HOWELL: Yeah, it's been super special to play alongside this group of guys. It looks like they're doing pretty well behind me, and I'm definitely going to get out there, watch them and root them on. Hopefully we'll be celebrating at the end of the day.

Q. You told me that a few months ago you never even had the Walker Cup on your radar. Of course all of that changed at the U.S. Amateur. Talk about what the last few months have been like and the whirlwind that's led to this moment.

MASON HOWELL: Yeah, it's definitely been a roller coaster, but I've been playing really good golf. I didn't know the winner of the U.S. Am got on the Walker Cup until about my quarterfinals match. It's been such a fun week. I'm just super blessed to be here.
