Q. Talk about today's round.

TYRRELL HATTON: Ended up being a pretty good day. It was a little bit scruffy early on. Not used to the early starts, I guess. Yeah, it took me a while to get going.

Holed a nice par putt on 17, and then from there, I had a nice sort of burst of birdies. That was key to today's round.

Q. 3-under on the par-5s just today. How crucial are they for scoring opportunities here at K Club?

TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, they give you good opportunities. I think yesterday I played them in 1-under, which I guess you probably lose shots to the field doing that. So it's nice to play them better today. Hopefully I can play them well over the weekend.

Q. If you were to win this week, your fifth win in the UK, and they're always roughly this time of year. Is there something about this time of the year in this part of the country in the UK that is a reason why you play well, do you think?

TYRRELL HATTON: I don't know. I don't try any harder or whatever, I guess, September and October being good months for me. I'd love to give myself a chance to win this tournament. Similar to Dubai, I think, it's one of those iconic events for the DP World Tour, so many amazing past champions.

It would be great to give myself a chance and hopefully be able to do that.
