Q. You are now an LPGA champion. At what point this week did you believe you would be a champion?

MIRANDA WANG: Honestly, on the back nine of my first round I started hitting really good shots and it was -- the shots and putts were going so well for me I feel like this could be my week, and I just worked really hard and didn't give up on that.

Q. We spoke to your coach, Dan Brooks, on show today, from Duke University. He said he believed your best was yet to come. Are we starting to see the best of Miranda Wang now?

MIRANDA WANG: Yeah, thanks so much for rooting me. Yes, I'm very grateful beyond words. Yeah, I hope this is the first of many and I'll keep working hard.

Q. No question about it. We saw a fabulous putting display. Is that something you always rely on, your putter?

MIRANDA WANG: Yeah, so I believe -- so I always think putter is my best club in the bag. I also like the other clubs, but I love putting, so I'm happy seeing it working out really good this week.

Q. You've overcome a lot. You're now a champion. Many congratulations.
