Quick Quotes
Q. How would you characterize the week?
MAVERICK McNEALY: This week was a grind for sure. Definitely kind of running on fumes here at the end, just 6 out of 7 weeks and a grueling three weeks of playoff golf. It was a really good experience, first time seeing East Lake, and just a treat to be here.
Q. Is there going to be anxiety the next 24 to 48 hours as you wait for the call from Keegan?
MAVERICK McNEALY: I'm actually heading to Cleveland for a KPMG outing today. So I'll be very busy. It's out of my control. I promise you I gave it everything I had this year, and if I get a call that I'm on that team, I'll do everything I can to be ready on that first tee.
It's out of my hands. I think there's a lot of players playing well on the U.S. side, so that's great news.
Q. You have peace with whatever direction Keegan goes with?
MAVERICK McNEALY: A hundred percent. Nobody wants to win the Ryder Cup more than Keegan Bradley. I know he's going to make the decision that's best for the team.
At the end of the day, it comes down to who plays the best golf. From everything I've seen Captain Kees do this year, he's making some great decisions for the team, and I'm sure he'll continue to do so.
