Quick Quotes
Q. Can you walk me through your final day today.
LISELOTTE NEUMANN: You know, when I was out there, it felt like a little bit of a struggle. I took a double bogey kind of early in the round, a bad three-putt. It felt like I was just really, really fighting today. Had a hard time getting anything going.
I made two birdies, but one was on 10, one on 18, so just a lot of pars in between. I was just trying to be patient, keeping the ball in play. It was one of those days, just kind of hang in there and you never know what's going to happen at the end, so just tried to be patient.
Q. Talk about some of the emotions of playing in the U.S. Senior Women's Open.
LISELOTTE NEUMANN: Oh, it's fabulous to be here. I live in the area, too, so I had a lot of friends out, and it was really neat. It's just such a great event. It's so nice for us to have this event. It just means the world to us. It's just something that we gear up for every year, and we just want to play well, so it means a lot to be part of it.
Q. Who or what continues to inspire you to pursue the game?
LISELOTTE NEUMANN: I think I just love the game. I just love golf. It's still challenging. I feel like even though -- I feel like obviously I've reached my height kind of way back, but I still just enjoy it. I still keep working at my game, and I still feel like there's little things you can improve and do better. It's just a great challenge.
Q. Are you looking forward to making a run at Barton Hills next year?
LISELOTTE NEUMANN: Absolutely, yeah.
Q. Tell me a little bit more about what's next for you after this championship.
LISELOTTE NEUMANN: I'm going out to the East Coast out to Boston, and I'm doing a Legends event out there. It's a little bit of a team event, but it'll be fun and we'll do a couple of pro-ams to support different charities and so on. I think after that, I'm pretty much done with golf for the year. Probably do a little skiing this off-season and hopefully be ready to go for the Legends Tour next year again.
Q. Where do you ski?
LISELOTTE NEUMANN: Colorado, mostly Aspen. It keeps you active and you've got to stay in shape.
