Quick Quotes
Q. You just finished birdie, birdie, eagle, birdie for 5-under over the last four holes to post a number in the clubhouse. Just describe what you were thinking and feeling as that was unfolding.
KAZUMA KOBORI: Yeah, I don't know what happened to be honest. I was just hitting shot-by-shot and then I made a nice birdie putt on, what's that par 5, 15, and then followed it up with a mid-range putt on 16. And then I was like, oh, yeah, playing pretty good.
I think at start of the day, the goal was to get to three and that got me to four. I was like, yeah, this is going quite nicely. Very happy right now.
Q. 15-under is a wonderful target but still golf to be played out there. How do you rate your chances?
KAZUMA KOBORI: I have no idea to be honest. Obviously if he does what I did; Nicolai is a great player. I'm just going to wait and hit a few balls on the range if required.
Q. You shot 63 to finish third at the BMW International but that was in the final round, so you came through. This is the first weekend you've actually been in contention throughout the weekend. When somebody asked you on Friday night how you felt, you said, Well, I don't know how I'll feel because I've never been in that situation. How was it emotionally throughout the weekend?
KAZUMA KOBORI: Pretty taxing to be honest. I guess you can't really see it from the lens of a camera or on TV but I am pretty nervous out there. Even when I was like making those birdies, I was still nervous.
But I held my composure pretty well I think for the most part, and yeah, pretty happy with how I handled it.
Q. What will you do now?
KAZUMA KOBORI: I'm going to go chat with my mates over there, and then maybe I will see how Nicolai is going and see what's required from there.
