Q. Betfred British Masters 2025, your second win in this championship but your first worldwide for seven years. What does this mean to you?
ALEX NOREN: It means a lot. It was a great, great week. I don't think I played like this for a very long time, and to get it done on the end, a little hiccup on the last but extremely proud of myself. I told Kyle earlier this year, we are going to get it. We are going to get into good golf again after kind of a bumpy year, and we did. Last three starts have been great, yeah.
Q. Let's talk about that back nine. You were two behind at the turn, level, and then behind again and then suddenly could he bore I shoots 6-under for the last six holes to post 15-under and you had to make birdies to get ahead. What was going through your mind as that was unfolding?
ALEX NOREN: I was also getting my fair share of birdies on 15, 16, 17. So I was on the same sort of streak as he was. I was more trying to beat Nic Højgaard, and so I wasn't really thinking about him.
Then on the last, it's tough. On the last three days, we played it kind of downwind and you can take it far left, and now today I tried to get in the bunker and then kind of felt like I was going to -- I didn't aim enough left, and then I missed it right. But stuff like that can happen, and I got a good putt in the end.
Q. You missed seven months of Ryder Cup qualification through injury. Yesterday I suggested to you if you win here or next week or both, Luke Donald is going to be considering you and you dismissed me. What do you think now?
ALEX NOREN: Yeah, I still think it's dismissed (laughs). Yeah, it would be great. But I'm more just happy to get this win. Like you said, first time in seven years, it feels great.
Q. After two rounds, you said you weren't happy with your ball-striking. You got in touch with your coach and he gave you some advice. That vice obviously led to this victory. You owe him a very large dinner, don't you?
ALEX NOREN: I do. I've owed him for like 13 years. It was great just to get a little bit better setup. Just overall, a little bit cleaner swing, and it really paid off. I didn't have to do my crazy practise swing, and it felt good.
Q. You're off to Switzerland where you've won twice before.
ALEX NOREN: Thank you very much.
