Quick Quotes
Q. Tell me a little bit about your round today. What challenged you? What worked in your favor?
BECKY MORGAN: So I didn't drive the ball particularly well today. I'm generally fairly straight. I just didn't hit many fairways, so coming from the rough was quite challenging. Putting was a little bit streaky. I holed some really good putts and then had a couple three-putts that were really annoying. But I hung in there, and birdieing the last was nice just to get back to level par for the day. Relatively happy with today even though yesterday was so much easier. When you shoot 5-under, it seems easy. Today I just stuck in there, and I'm still in with a shot, so it's good.
Q. You talked a couple of three-putts. Did you notice any difference in the hole locations today?
BECKY MORGAN: Yeah, there was a few tricky ones. I just played the par-5s really bad on the back nine, and instead of having makeable birdie chances, I had some tricky putts for just even par. I just didn't play them very well. Got myself in the wrong place a couple times. But then made some really good putts on the front, some downhill sliders that you don't expect to make.
So I was streaky is how I'd describe it, but hopefully I'll do a little bit of work now and sort it out.
Q. How do you keep your mindset level-headed in the middle of a round?
BECKY MORGAN: Well, my caddie Beth has been brilliant talking me around and stuff. She used to play on the European Tour, really good golfer, so she's helped me a lot, and we just talk about stuff that's not really related out here until we need to, so it's been really good having her, and she's kept me pretty calm, so it's great.
Q. How are you going to prepare for the final tomorrow?
BECKY MORGAN: Just the same. I'll go hit a few balls now to try and iron out the driver and then just go home. I'm staying with Trish and Laura this week in a house, so we'll just have dinner and watch something on TV and go to bed. Nothing too exciting. We've done it pretty much every night, so it's been nice just to sort of eat at home.
Q. Not too bad to be in California?
BECKY MORGAN: Oh, it's brilliant. The sunshine has been really nice. The storm warning today we thought was hilarious. Obviously there was one over there, but we didn't really see it coming. It's just been the same every day. It's been really nice.
