CAMERON ADAM: It's brilliant. Honestly I'm happy to be here. It's a big week for me in terms of securing where I can play next year. So to have the invite, I appreciate that, and I'm happy to be here playing golf.

Q. Explain what you said about playing next year.

CAMERON ADAM: Yeah, so I'm leading the Global Amateur Pathway Rankings, and I'm at a spot where I'm currently ranked 20th and I need to be inside the top 20 to be eligible for the DP card for next year. I'm at that final push to secure DP status.

Q. That means turning professional, but before that, you'll play Walker Cup that you've just been selected for. How excited about that opportunity?

CAMERON ADAM: I'm buzzing. We have a great team and we're going to American soil which is always a tough thing to do. There's a great belief in our locker room that we can cause an upset.

Q. You've played yourself into the mix. You could potentially win this championship?

CAMERON ADAM: Yeah, just going to try and take every day at a time. I played a great one today and got myself up there, so just the same again tomorrow.
