Quick Quotes
Q. You've played a lot golf golf in the past, finishing third last year and winning the U.K. championship back in 2020. How pleased were you with today's 69?
RASMUS HØJGAARD: Yeah, I'm very, very pleased. I feel like it's a solid round of golf. Didn't cause myself too much trouble. Yeah, it's nice to shoot 69.
Q. Last week of Ryder Cup qualification. You're the only man who can affect things and you can break into the top six and take Shane Lowry's spot. How are you approaching it?
RASMUS HØJGAARD: Yeah, I get reminded of it every day at the moment. You can't just forget about it. I try to focus on what can I do to try and put myself in position to have a chance of winning this golf tournament, and that's taking it hole-by-hole and do my best. If it happens, it would be great, but I don't try and put too much energy into it.
Q. If you were just to miss out, you'd still be extremely well placed in the ranking system. Where do you rate your chances at if you didn't manage to secure your own spot?
RASMUS HØJGAARD: I don't know. To be honest, I have no idea. I'm sure they have a lot of conversations going on with who they would like to see in the team. To be honest, I don't have a clue.
