Q. You've just won the G4D Tour title at the Betfred British Masters after two playoff holes. Can you summarise your emotions?
DANIEL SLABBERT: Well, I'm absolutely delighted. Especially with the playoff holes, got a bit nervous out there, tee shots are tight, especially holes that your second shots in, it's not easy. So I was really nervous. So I'm actually really graduate to be done with. It's an absolutely amazing feeling to get it done.
Q. How much does it mean to win the G4D Tour title on an iconic golf course like The Belfry? We heard you prepared for this week on your golf simulator before flying over.
DANIEL SLABBERT: Yeah, so on a simulator and everything, but definitely it's not the same as what you play real golf. Sometimes the simulator, like I said, it's a great tool for practising and everything but when you get here and you're like, whoa, it's absolutely amazing. The greens were in great nick. The golf course is in great nick. Basically not a grass out of place. So it's absolutely amazing.
Q. A quick word on your playing partner today. You had a great battle out there.
DANIEL SLABBERT: Well, he played solid golf. He made a couple of good birdies as well, like on the par 4, solid birdies. I think the only thing that kept him back a bit was his length. Some of the par 4s he needed to lay up, and so it's not easy second shots into the green with the slopes and everything.
Q. With this win you would qualify for the G4D Tour Series finale at the Rolex Series grand final Mallorca. How much are you looking forward to competing in Spain in late October?
DANIEL SLABBERT: I haven't even thought about that. It's my first news of it now. So look forward to it and see what progressions I can do for that.
