Q. All right, here with Gurleen after the final round of The Standard Portland Classic. 7-under 65. Did your best to chase down the leader, but came up just a little short. Still an overall great week. Talk about this week as a whole right now.

GURLEEN KAUR: Yeah, just really happy to be in this position. I got off to a really good start today, which I was really happy from yesterday. Yeah, I think just in the middle I was kind of -- I missed a couple that I think definitely could have been beneficial to try to win.

But just really happy overall how I played. Rolled it really well. Just basically throughout the whole bag I was just really consistent the whole week, so...

Q. And 6-under through 10; like you said, got off to a great start. How nice was it to be in contention and having those feelings and obviously playing well with all those nerves and excitement?

GURLEEN KAUR: Yeah, I didn't really know exactly where I was. I just kind of don't like to know. So I knew of course I was close but I just was trying to play as consistent and solid as I could, and if the putts fall, they fall.

I was happy to keep it going and get a chance at it. But finished with a birdie on 17 and then par an 18, so happy overall.

Q. And then your best career finish on the LPGA. How nice is that to hear? Like you said, obviously want to win but always nice to hit a career goal.

GURLEEN KAUR: Yeah, I think it just shows I have the capability to win out here. I was close today. I just need to keep that consistent momentum going and confidence for the future. Yeah, second place finish is pretty good. I'll take that. Obviously I wanted to win of course, but, yeah, happy overall.

Q. What kind of confidence does this give you going forward? Like you said, being able to know you can compete with the best in the world; how does that feel going forward into your next tournament?

GURLEEN KAUR: Yeah, I think it's super exciting. We're playing in Canada next week with a stronger field as well, so excited about that. Carrying that good momentum from here to there, so, yeah.
