Q. Okay, here with Kiara after the final round of The Standard Portland Classic. 8-under 64. Talk about your day today. Those don't usually come around too often. What was going on out there?

KIARA ROMERO: Yeah, I feel like ball striking was really on pointe today. Like right off the bat I just started hitting it to within like ten feet on every hole so that was pretty cool.

Then my putting was pretty good, too. Just kind of worked together out there and everything was rolling pretty smoothly and the vibes were up, so, yeah.

Q. Talk about this week as a whole. You came in here as sponsor invite. Now maybe going to secure a top 10 finish. How nice is it to get a really nice result out here this week?

KIARA ROMERO: Yeah, it feels great to just play really well my first LPGA event. Kind of gives me a lot of confidence going into the school year, and just that it's like an hour from my -- from University of Oregon that I go to, all the Ducks fans are out here, so we had a big crowd and a lot of people cheering me on, so it meant a lot to put a good week.

Q. Kind of talk about the support out here this week with all the Oregon fans. Not just you, but other Oregon Ducks out here been supporting all week. How cool is that to see?

KIARA ROMERO: It was really cool just being out there and just having this big support group behind me and everyone kind of cheering me on and supporting me. Just helped a lot with everything. Made everything so much sweeter.

Q. LEAP this year; got the McCormack Medal; made the cut; might get another top 10. A lot points adding up real quick. Talk about that and how this whirlwind of points has come about.

KIARA ROMERO: Yeah, I know it's a super tough thing to accomplish if you get those 20 points. I'm definitely trying my best to see how it works. Yeah, this week I definitely got a few points on the board so that's good. Yeah, I'm just really excited for the future and what we have going on for next few years.
