Quick Quotes
Q. Okay, here with Linn Grant after her third round at the The Standard Portland Classic. Just an awesome day today to move up the leaderboard. Just talk about your play.
LINN GRANT: Very solid. I mean, I had a good round out there today. Thursday too felt very similar. Tried to go out and just be, I wouldn't say happy, but just accepting of whatever today would bring.
I think I played very mature and just had a lot of fun.
Q. And is that something as of recently you've been trying to focus on?
LINN GRANT: I feel like my whole year this year I have been like trying to find my peace a little bit. I haven't -- I wouldn't say I truly figured it out. I think no one does. I think I'm heading in the right direction.
So not like putting too much pressure when you go out; just try to see it as like I really enjoy playing golf and not just something that I have to do, which is like something really nice to have to do.
But, yeah, just be more accepting, not get too frustrated when things doesn't go my way as is with golf usually too often.
Q. I heard people do different things on the golf course when they're not hitting the golf ball to keep happy. Is there anything like that that you're trying to do?
LINN GRANT: I mean, Pontus and I just try to keep conversation going. I think today we still haven't figured out what to have for dinner. That's been our ongoing conversation throughout the day.
Q. Have you decided what you're going to have for dinner?
LINN GRANT: No.
Q. What are the decisions between?
LINN GRANT: I'm simple. I like just like ground beef, rice. I could eat that any day and every day. He's like burgers, so see where we end up. (Plane interference.)
Q. Awesome. And then I was going to talk about this golf course a little bit. What is standing out to you about the golf course maybe?
LINN GRANT: I think it's fun. I feel like to me -- I mean, I wasn't planning on playing this event, and then kind of with how the season was going I just tried to switch my mindset to be like, I'm just going to play the courses that I really enjoy playing and this is one of them.
I feel like every hole is a birdie opportunity. You know, I usually am very good from like tee to green, so if I just do my thing like I should be, this course should suit me quite well.
In general I just think it's really fun. It's an old school setup. I love the tree lines.
Q. Lastly, how many tournaments has your caddie been on the bag?
LINN GRANT: He started Mexico this year.
Q. Okay.
LINN GRANT: And then obviously before when he caddied for me at LET.
