PORTLAND CLASSIC

August 16, 2025

Aditi Ashok

Portland, Oregon, USA

Columbia Edgewater Country Club

Quick Quotes

Q. Okay, here with Aditi Ashok after her third round at The Standard Portland Classic. 7-under 65. Talk about your day today. 31 on the front nine so obviously played really well coming out of the gate.

ADITI ASHOK: Yes, I think I hit a few (indiscernible.) So started off pretty good and then I feel like kind of slowed down in the middle. Didn't really make use of the par-5s today as much today; only birdied one.

Yeah, got it back on the back. Made a couple good shots. Made those putts. And then, yeah, missed a couple coming in again. Yeah, good day.

Q. And then mentioned putting a little bit. A lot of one-putts on the card today. Talk about how important putting is on this golf course.

ADITI ASHOK: Yeah, I think because the greens are so quick and true, so if you're reading them good more often than not they go in. Yeah, pace is really important. I think here some of those quick putts break more and it's just tough to get used to that speed, especially as the week goes on and the greens get quicker.

So, yeah, I feel like I've always liked the greens here and always putted really here. It's just a matter of getting a lot of the birdie putts, which I did today.

Q. Talk about 7-under round on moving day. Hopefully be in contention tomorrow. How nice is that to see your name on the top of the leaderboard walking off 18?

ADITI ASHOK: Yeah, of course. Haven't had many weeks where I have been towards the top of the leaderboard so it's good to finally be up there on the weekend. Yeah, hopefully get another good round in tomorrow.

Q. Talking with Craig and he said you're a big fan of dad jokes. Do you have any for us right now?

ADITI ASHOK: I don't. I don't. They're embarrassing. They're really embarrassing. They're for Craig.
