Q. An electric match, clawing back from yet another deficit going into 18. What's your mindset as you kind of feel the electricity out here on the last hole?

NIALL SHIELS DONEGAN: It's great. I feel like -- I mean, I did what I could. I had a really good second shot in there, just didn't quite spin, and then the putt. Just a tough putt. It's just such a great experience still, though.

I'm only 20. Like hopefully I've got a long career ahead of me, and this is just one of the many building blocks along the journey that hopefully commences.

Q. Absolutely. During this match play round, you found yourself in these kind of deficits on those last few holes, every single round. How do you claw yourself out of those holes going into 18 the last few rounds?

NIALL SHIELS DONEGAN: I think it's just a lot of it is down to the experience of being in those holes and not clawing your way back and just learning from those, I guess you could call them failures. I call them just little steps along the way. I think it's just a big learning experience, yeah.

Q. Obviously moving forward, what are your kind of big takeaways you're going to bring from your time at the Amateur into big events?

NIALL SHIELS DONEGAN: Just I'm a good golfer and I can show up when I need to.
