Quick Quotes
Q. Talk me through that shot on 18 in the trees. Didn't look like you had anything. What did you see?
ERIC LEE: At first I saw a little gap through the tree, but there were a lot of branches hanging that kind of made it too risky. So tried to look for another way and figured try to hit a pitching wedge and slice it as much as I can around the tree.
Wherever it ends up, it ends up. If I lose the hole, then we just move on to extra holes, that was kind of my mindset. But I got pretty lucky and ended up on the green.
Q. What is it with you and the left side of 17 and that rough? Yesterday insane chip out; today hit it to two feet. What is it with that?
ERIC LEE: I don't know, I guess that's just my spot. Today's lie was a little worse than yesterday's. It was sitting down a little more. I didn't know how the ball was going to react. Unlike yesterday, I knew exactly how the ball was going to react.
I don't know, just got to believe in myself.
Q. What is it with you and match play? In the NCAA Championship, you beat Trolio, had the winning point in the NCAA Championships. You go and beat both of them yesterday again. Then today you take down Miles Russell. What do you like so much about match play?
ERIC LEE: I like the fact that it's just me and one other guy. I don't really need to worry about what I shoot. Just need to worry about beating the other guy.
Q. One more until the Masters, U.S. Open, The Open. So many majors if you win tomorrow. Any pressure tomorrow? What are you doing tonight?
ERIC LEE: Same thing I've been doing this whole week. Eat some good food, rest a lot. I don't know, I'm sure I'll be nervous tomorrow, but I'm going to try to forget about it and have a good time with my friends and family.
