Quick Quotes

Q. 4-under 67, really good start to your week, T12 right now. Talk a little bit about your round today.

ANDY OGLETREE: Yeah, I felt like I started on a really hot start, starting on 4 and 5. I played the two hardest holes on the course to start, so getting through those even par. Then you get around hole 7 and it's playing so easy, I had a really good eagle chance. I felt like if I could have been 2-under through 7, it would have been a really good start.

All in all, I felt like I stayed patient all day, had a really good run at the end of my round. 16, 17 and 18, playing those holes in 4-under. It's one of those golf courses you never know where people are starting, you never know when the birdie runs can come because there's so many chances out there.

You've got to stay optimistic and let the birdies come to you, not force it too much.

Q. Is that your mindset the rest of the week?

ANDY OGLETREE: Yeah. I'm obviously at risk, and I can't play super conservative. I have to go try to post a good score and make some birdies, and that cost me a couple times today, but I think keep the pedal down will be the mindset going forward. It's right in front of me. I have to go make a lot of birdies, and we'll try to eliminate a couple mistakes going into the weekend and see what happens.
